Working to Fight Drug Abuse in the 4th District

District 4 Constituents:
 
 On Thursday October 12th I spent the day on the road again going to DeKalb and presenting awards to the essay contest holders It was very exciting helping children to have a financial advantage for college because of there concern’s for the community.
 
In addition we talked about a rehab center with city officials it will be the first of its kind in our district we will make it self funding , as it has been told that there will be major cuts to these programs, I won’t allow it from Washington that I guarantee it.  Local law enforcement has been very grateful that someone has gotten involved to help them.  They have seen no involvement by their current Congressman on this important issue that is killing out young people.
 
 
These children could very well be our future State or Federal  Representatives one day it was a great feeling to be able to help. I hope all voters see where my concerns are that is the next generation and beyond.  This is one of the many reasons that we need change in Washington DC .
